Resonance Machine (2010)
for two 5- or 6-valve F tubas
Resonance Machine was inspired by a report by Hector Berlioz on the first Wieprecht-Moritz F tuba of 1835, in which he describes how the use of two tubas to double the fundamental with the first overtone results in ‘an amazing richness and resonance’.
